\nFour more bodies have been found in the well cave-in in Jharkhand’s Ranchi district, bringing the total death toll to six, according to the police. Two individuals were successfully rescued during the operation, added Kaushal. Jharkhand Chief Minister expressed his sorrow over the tragic incident on X (formerly Twitter) and hoped for peace for the departed and strength for their grieving families. All six bodies were sent for post-mortem examinations, stated Jama. The incident occurred when an ox fell into the well on Thursday afternoon in the village, located approximately 70 km away from the state capital Ranchi.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Nine people entered the well to rescue the animal, but a portion of it collapsed, explained Jama. The NDRF faced difficulties in removing the heavy materials as the well was constructed with boulders, shared an NDRF official. The Chief Minister had initially reported five deaths, but the NDRF could not confirm the exact toll due to the ongoing rescue operation at that time.<\/span><\/p>\n
