Furthermore, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar censured China for launching the official \u201cstandard map\u201d, referring to it as an outdated practice and noting that merely placing other countries’ territories on a map does not lead to any changes. <\/span>The map, which was released on August 28, shows Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as part of Chinese territory, as well as Taiwan and the contentious South China Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n
