However, the group did not agree with this argument and decided to march from Birla in Diphu to the District Commissioner’s office. Consequently, from early morning, the police in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong were on high alert. The leader of the group, John Ingti Kathar, alleged that the administration obstructed their supporters from coming to Diphu from places like West Karbi Anglong, Dokmoka, Bokajan, Howraghat, and Borlangphar.<\/span><\/p>\n
