On Friday at noon, these organizations submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Assam through the District Commissioner, highlighting the urgent need for intervention and preventive measures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The alarming rise in violence-related incidents in Karbi Anglong has left the community in distress. The women\u2019s groups have expressed their deep-seated worry over the frequency at which these heinous crimes are occurring. The memorandum urges the state government to implement effective strategies to curb these acts of violence and to protect the vulnerable sections of society.<\/span><\/p>\n
