The incident occurred late at night, around 1 AM, as the couple arrived at the Paltan Bazar railway station, where they were set to continue their journey. This disturbing event has raised serious concerns about safety in the area, prompting the victim’s husband to file a complaint with the Paltan Bazar police station.<\/span><\/p>\n The couple had arrived at the Paltan Bazar railway station after taking a special train from Alipurduar. With a few hours until their next train to Dimapur, they decided to step out of the station for a meal at a nearby hotel. At that late hour, the area was relatively quiet, allowing them to momentarily relax. However, as they approached the auto-rickshaw stand, the situation took a turn for the worse.<\/span><\/p>\n While waiting for her husband to retrieve a forgotten bag from the platform, the woman was left momentarily unattended. Within this brief window, she was abducted by two men who arrived on a motorcycle. The husband, unaware of the impending danger, returned after about 20 minutes only to find his wife missing. Panic set in as he frantically searched for her, calling out her name to no avail.<\/span><\/p>\n Eyewitnesses reported seeing the couple just before the abduction occurred, and it became increasingly clear that the woman had been taken against her will. Disturbingly, the CCTV footage from the station captured the entire incident, providing critical evidence for the ongoing investigation.
