The video was reported to the Garchuk Police Station at 2:30 AM by a local journalist, prompting swift police action. Under the leadership of Inspector Mayurjit Gogoi and Sub-Inspector Kajal Dutta, the police launched overnight search operations in the Garchuk and Jalukbari areas, leading to the earlier arrests of seven suspects. Those detained include Kuldeep Nath (23), Bijoy Rabha (22), Pinku Das (18), Gagan Das (21), Saurav Boro (20), Mrinal Rabha (19), and Dipankar Mukhiya (21).<\/span><\/p>\n

Investigators reported that one of the perpetrators, who was known to the victim, coaxed her into the isolated location, leading to the attack.
