The water tanker, bearing the registration AS\/24\/AC\/1362, was owned by Binny Construction, a contractor associated with Assam Mala. Witnesses suggest that the accident was likely due to the vehicle\u2019s dilapidated state.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although local residents managed to extract the driver from the wreckage, they quickly transported the co-driver to a hospital for medical attention. When Badarpur police arrived at the scene, community members placed Laskar\u2019s body on the road to protest, demanding compensation for his grieving family.<\/span><\/p>\n
