T<\/span>he Assam State School Education Board<\/a> (ASSEB) has announced the results for the Higher Secondary examinations, bringing a moment of anticipation to over 300,000 students across the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams. Today\u2019s results reveal significant insights into student performance, with the Science stream emerging as the standout category.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Assam’s Female Students Outshine Males with 82.95% Pass Rate in Higher Secondary Results<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The results indicate that the Science stream achieved an impressive success rate of approximately 85%. Out of 48,309 candidates who passed, 25,827 students secured a first division, showcasing the strength of this discipline. Meanwhile, the Arts stream, despite having the highest enrollment of 226,756 students, recorded 183,745 passes. Notably, 49,577 of these students distinguished themselves by achieving first division credentials.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Commerce stream, 14,584 students were successful, with 6,519 earning first division marks. The Vocational courses accounted for 824 successful candidates, of whom 60 achieved top division scores. This reflects a diverse representation of student interests and strengths across the educational spectrum in Assam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gender-wise, the results tell an interesting story. The pass percentage for male students stands at 78.42%, while female students have outshone their male counterparts, boasting a pass rate of 82.95%. This trend underscores the increasing educational achievements among female students in the region, signaling a shift towards gender parity in academic performance.<\/span><\/p>\n
