The operation unfolded around 8 AM during a routine checkpoint inspection, spotlighting the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region.<\/p>\n According to police sources, law enforcement officials flagged down a suspicious Ashok Leyland truck bearing registration number HR 45C 7314 as it traveled from Dimapur. Upon conducting a thorough inspection of the vehicle, authorities uncovered a staggering 9,925 kilograms of suspected narcotics concealed within the vehicle\u2019s dashboard, specifically hidden between the speedometer and the dashboard itself.<\/p>\n The two individuals detained during this operation have been identified as Wajir Singh from Jalamnah in Haryana and Tarcham Singh from Shanti Nagar in Karnal. Both are suspected of being involved in a larger drug supply network, and police are actively pursuing additional leads to expand their investigation and uncover further details about their operations.<\/p>\n The heroin seizure was carried out under the supervision of Rustam Raj Brahma, the police officer in charge of the Bokajan sub-division.
