In an innovative approach to commencement activities, TU hosted parallel orientation programs alongside parent-interaction sessions. This unique setup aimed to provide a holistic view of the academic landscape, integrating families into the educational journey. By reinforcing the value of a collaborative community, the university aims to ensure that students develop not only academically but also emotionally.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Business Administration held its MBA Orientation Programme at the KBR Auditorium, where Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh delivered a compelling Diksharambh address. He urged incoming students to adopt a diligent work ethic, embrace innovation, and uphold discipline. Prof. Singh highlighted that higher education should transcend mere job placement; instead, it should foster curiosity, resilience, and critical life skills that are essential for success in the real world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program showcased insights from notable faculty members including Prof. Chandan Goswami, Dean of the School of Management Sciences, and Prof. M. K. Sarma, Dean of Research & Development. A highlighted session entitled \u201cFeelings of Parents and Guardians\u201d encouraged attendees to share their reflections, reaffirming the university’s belief in the power of collaboration among students, parents, and faculty as vital to creating a nurturing learning atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alumni were also invited to share their personal experiences, illustrating how the department’s rigorous academic standards and mentorship played pivotal roles in their career successes. Additionally, remarks from esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Chandan Kumar Sharma, Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, and Prof. Manabendra Mandal, Dean of Student Welfare, provided valuable insights into the university’s holistic educational approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Celebrating Creativity and AwarenessThe event was further enlivened by the inauguration of a photography exhibition titled ECLAT and the wall magazine MCJ Samvaad, both centered around the critical theme of cybercrime awareness. These initiatives aim not only to celebrate creativity among students but also to educate and inform the community about pressing social issues.<\/span><\/p>\n
