Addressing current challenges faced by Silchar and the surrounding Barak Valley, Sarma assured residents of significant infrastructure developments in the pipeline.<\/span><\/p>\n

He announced that the tender for constructing a flyover from Rangirkhari to the Capital Travel Point would be released the following month. This \u20b9700 crore project aims to remedy longstanding transportation issues in the region, enhancing connectivity for both local commuters and the overall economic landscape. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to honoring Netaji, Sarma also unveiled a statue of Mangal Pandey, another luminary of the Indian freedom struggle.
