Mahila Morcha President and MLA Mimi Majumder, speaking to the media, condemned the Youth Congress action as inappropriate and harmful to national interests. \u201cOur country is witnessing remarkable economic growth and emerging as a global platform for artificial intelligence. The AI World Summit held in Delhi, attended by representatives from over 100 countries, showcased India\u2019s digital progress. Amid such developments, the actions of the Congress were embarrassing,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Majumder accused the Congress of trying to undermine India\u2019s image on an international stage and criticised Rahul Gandhi for comments she said portray the country negatively when made abroad. She called the conduct unacceptable and said it damaged the nation\u2019s reputation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The protesters remained peaceful, raised slogans and demanded an apology from Congress leadership. There was no immediate response from the Congress party at the time of filing this report.<\/span><\/p>\n
