Two Assam players, wicketkeeper-batter Uma Chetry and all-rounder Jintimani Kalita, have been named in the India A Women\u2019s squads for the upcoming series against Australia A, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) announced, earning praise from the state body. The tour will feature three T20s, three one-day internationals and a four-day multi-day match between India A Women and Australia A Women.<\/span><\/p>\n Uma Chetry has been selected in both the T20 and one-day squads, while Jintimani Kalita has been picked across all three formats, reflecting selectors\u2019 confidence in their readiness for higher-level competition. The selections mark a notable achievement for Assam cricket as two homegrown players step into the India A setup.<\/span><\/p>\n The T20 leg will be played in New Chandigarh from September 12 to 17, followed by the three-match one-day series at the PCA Stadium in Mohali from September 20 to 25. The tour concludes with a four-day match in Dharamsala from September 29 to October 2.<\/span><\/p>\n The Assam Cricket Association congratulated both cricketers and wished them success on the tour.
