He said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman would announce th details of the package. \u201cIt will empower various different sectors of the society. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a special economic package, and said the recent decisions by the government, the decisions by the RBI combined with the May 12 financial package announcement come to about \u20b920-lakh-crore \u2014 nearly 10% of India\u2019s GDP address to the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u00a0 address to the nation\u00a0 said that there will be lockdown 4 beyond May 17 but the fourth phase would be different from the past three. Addressing the nation for the fifth time since the coronavirus outbreak, he said that it will be different and will have new rules.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cYou will be informed about it before May 18,\u201d PM Modi said. The Prime Minister also said scientists believe the coronavirus will be a part of our lives for a very long time, \u201cbut we can\u2019t let our lives remain confined around corona\u201d. \u201cWe will wear masks and maintain social distancing but we will not let it affect us.
