Betsing Jidung alias John Dimasa Jidung alias Master (24), son of Sharma Jidung of village Daudikho, Samnala under Diphu PS. He has been a cadre of the UPLF group and was an active member from July,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">2014 and surrendered in 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">The cadre again joined the DNLA outfit in Jan, 2019. The trained cadre is responsible for recruitment and training of the new cadres joining the said outfit and specializes in weapon handling and jungle tactics. His rank is corporal and appointed as training instructor bearing army no. 1991.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\">He has also been involved in extortion and arms deal between the NSCN (IM) under whose aegis the DNLA has taken shelter. He had also featured in a video released by the outfit in which the said (Betsing Jidung) was seen talking of uniting the Dimasa people and building of a separate state for the Dimasas.
