D<\/strong><\/span>rugs worth over Rs three crore in the international market has been seized while a woman trafficker along with her two accomplices were apprehended in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Monday, police said.<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Acting on a tip-off, about the movement of the traffickers\u00a0along the Assam-Nagaland border, a team of police personnel, led by Bokajan Sub Divisional Police Officer John Das launched an operation and nabbed the trio from Borlengri area of the district.<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \"\"The police was on the look-out for the woman since a person, identified as Baba Hazarika, was arrested on January 12 and huge quantities of drugs and vehicles were recovered from his possession.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The woman, identified as L H Rani Rao of Manipur, was allegedly heading a drug trafficking racket and the others arrested include her husband R N Surinder and a resident of Borlengri\u00a0 P Mao, Das said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The police recovered 33 soap boxes with a total of 401 gms of heroin and its worth in the international market was over Rs three crore, he said.<\/span><\/p>\n
