lakh people are still reeling under the deluge across 16 districts, an official bulletin said.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone the daily flood report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), two persons, including one child, drowned in Cachar, while one person lost his life in Morigaon district during the day.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0One more child died due to the\u00a0flood in Nagaon district, the report stated.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0With this, the total number of persons losing their lives in this year&#8217;s flood and landslides has gone up to 184 across the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-79928 size-large\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">ASDMA said more than 11,16,800 people are hit due to floods in Bajali, Barpeta, Biswanath, Cachar, Chirang, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Hailakandi, Kamrup, Kamrup Metropolitan, Karimganj, Morigaon, Nagaon, Sivasagar and Tamulpur districts.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cachar is the worst hit with nearly 6.32 lakh people suffering, followed by Nagaon with almost 2.33 lakh persons and Morigaon with around 1.65 lakh people.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Urban flood has hit several places in Dibrugarh districts, the bulletin said.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Till Monday, nearly 14 lakh people were affected in the deluge across 21 districts in the state.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0At present, 1,024 villages are under water and 29,781.23 hectares of crop areas have been damaged across Assam, ASDMA said.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It further said authorities are running 383 relief camps and distribution centres in 15 districts, where 1,48,122 people, including 44,190 children, are taking shelter.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The authorities have distributed 1,846.9 quintals of rice, dal and salt, 783.01 litres of mustard oil, 1,022.3 quintals of cattle feed and other flood relief items during the last 24 hours.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Massive erosions have been witnessed in Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Dhemaji, Hailakandi, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Tinsukia and Udalguri districts.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Embankments, roads, bridges and other infrastructure have been damaged by flood waters in Kamrup, Nagaon, Bajali, Barpeta, Biswanath, Cachar, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Karimganj, Udalguri, Biswanath, Morigaon, Dibrugarh, Hojai and Sivasagar.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A total of 3,18,910 domestic animals and poultry have been affected in the deluge across nine districts, ASDMA said.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Quoting the Central Water Commission bulletin, the ASDMA said that the mighty Brahmaputra
