On the basis of a tip-off, a joint team comprising officers of Excise Intelligence Bureau <span style=\"color: #000000;\">in <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.devdiscourse.com\/news?tag=Guwahati\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Guwahati<\/a><\/span> and Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), seized the <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.devdiscourse.com\/news?tag=IMFL\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">IMFL<\/a> from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.devdiscourse.com\/news?tag=Kharboja\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kharboja<\/span><\/a> area on Friday night, the release said, adding, the seized liquor was meant for sale and consumption in Arunachal Pradesh.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The seizures include 162 cartons IMFL, 163 cartons beer, 2980 fake labels and two fake seals, the release said.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Acting on the source information, two persons identified as Nipul Rava and Rajesh kumar Rava of Khargaja in Goalpara in whose house the contraband was stored were arrested, it said. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The illegal liquor seized by the Excise Intelligence Branch, Guwahati, were handed over to Inspector of Excise , Goalpara for further necessary action, the release added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASSAM TIMES POST Guwahati : A large quantity of illegal India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was seized from Assam&#8217;s Goalpara district, an official statement said on Saturday.
