The Mizoram police have made one of the state’s largest drug seizures, confiscating crystal methamphetamine and heroin valued at approximately Rs 350 crore. In connection with this operation, one individual has been arrested.

The operation was executed on August 1, following a tip-off. A joint task force, including members from the Criminal Investigation Department (Special Branch) and the Special Narcotic police station in Aizawl, conducted the operation near the state capital.
During the operation, authorities intercepted a pickup truck traveling to Aizawl, which was transporting Mithun, between the Zemabawk and Seling areas, as reported by a police officer.
