
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which will be led by captain Suryakumar Yadav. The team includes 15 players and features Shubman Gill as the vice-captain. The Asia Cup will be contested in a T20 format and will take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to September 28.

In the newly announced team, Suryakumar Yadav, alongside Shubman Gill, will be at the forefront. The roster also includes players like Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube. Other notable names on the team are Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakravarthy, along with Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, and Rinku Singh.
The tournament will see teams from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Oman competing, along with representatives from the UAE, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.
