
Assam Weather Update:
The weather could take a severe turn! The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert in 10 districts and a Yellow Alert in 24 districts for tomorrow. The state is experiencing destructive cyclonic winds named Rimle.

From last night, normal life in various parts of the state, including the capital, has been devastated. The Meteorological Department has also issued an Orange Alert for Wednesday in 10 districts and a Yellow Alert in 24 districts. Orange Alerts have been issued in Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Tamulpur, Sonitpur, Biswanath, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, and Tinsukia.
Yellow Alerts have been declared in South Salmara, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Barpeta, Udalguri, Darrang, Kamrup (Metropolitan), Kamrup on May 29. Additionally, Yellow Alerts are in place for Nalbari, Goalpara, Morigaon, West Karbi Anglong, Hojai, Nagaon, Karbi Anglong, Golaghat on May 29. Yellow Alerts are also issued in Sivasagar, Jorhat, Majuli, Dima Hasao, Cachar, Karimganj, and Hailakandi districts on May 29 by the Meteorological Department.
