
Assam, Congress Dhubri Lok Sabha MP Rakibul Hussain was assaulted by unidentified attackers at Rupohihat in Nagaon district on Thursday. The attackers, hiding their identities with black cloths, ambushed Hussain during a meeting with party workers.
The assailants used cricket bats in the assault, targeting Hussain and his personal security officers (PSOs) who attempted to protect him. The police responded swiftly to the scene, and Hussain was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
