This evening in New Delhi, Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, unveiled an ambitious proposal worth ₹5,617.99 crore under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) to Shri Jual Oram, the Hon’ble Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
This comprehensive plan aims to address critical needs in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong, targeting essential areas such as housing, road development, water supply, electrification, healthcare, education, digital empowerment, agriculture, and skill development.
Our mission is to promote holistic development and significantly improve the lives of our tribal communities, paving the way for a brighter future. Dr. Ronghang’s presentation was backed by a distinguished group, including Shri Amarsing Tisso, MP, and MLAs Darsing Ronghang, Bidyasing Engleng, and Rupsing Teron, along with Executive Members of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council among other esteemed guests.
