Diphu : Indian army under the aegis of Red Horns Division organised a health awareness lecture on the spread and prevention of COVID19 at Rongmongve and Upar Donga Nau Basti on 24 Mar 2020.
The aim of this lecture was to make the people aware of the virus including efforts being taken to tackle the pandemic. This included Do’s and Don’ts to be followed , methods of virus transmission, its symptoms, age groups most vulnerable to infection,testing procedures to be followed and preventive measures that are recommended to be taken to prevent the spread of infection.
The lecture was appreciated by everyone present including the Nursing Assistant of Rongmongve health centre as it helped them in understanding the deadly virus that has been on the limelight of both national and international media over the past few weeks.
