Army Unit under RED HORNS DIVISION as part of Op Namaste org distribution of essential rations at Naujan vill, PS Rongmongve, East Karbi Anglong on 08 Apr 2020. Essential rations (Rice, Atta, Sugar & Dal amounting to approx 90kgs) were provisioned to the underprivileged of the remote village as part of this humanitarian gesture.
The initiative received great appreciation from the underprivileged. Army expressed its commitment to provide more assistance amid the lockdown in near future to places which are affected by the disruption of any form of transport.Assistance to the locals in desperate times and need for a united stand in fight against COVID-19 is the motive behind the Op Namaste Initiative and Red Horns Division takes pride in being part of this.
