Diphu : Maximum government offices in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong autonomous district administered by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council including the council secretariat remained functional with 33% employees attendance while the school, colleges and educational institutes remain closed till May 3 according to the Central government’s decision while the relaxation announced by the state government enabled government offices functional.
Local farmers have expressed satisfaction after government announcement of restriction free activity in agricultural activities, milk production and distribution, food production industries, irrigation and any other works related to water resources, cold storage and ware house.
After the government announcement that all agriculture and rural economy sectors will remain open, outlets dealing with agricultural prerequisites like agricultural tools and repairing unit, production and distribution of seed. Pesticides and chemical fertilizers have also resumed trade and transaction.
