Guwahati: On the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day, MyGov Assam is organising a handwritten essay writing competition for students of Class VII-X. The subject of essay is ‘If I become a soldier.’ Participants would write their essays on paper and upload the scanned copy on assam.mygov.in. The essay should be written either in Assamese or English. The last date of entry is August 15. Essay must be handwritten. It shall not exceed 300 words. Page numbers of essay should be clearly written. Name, address, contact number and school standard of the participant should be written at the beginning of the essay. One participant can send only one essay. The essay will be discarded if it contains plagiarised content. Top five best entries will be awarded with certificates of appreciation to be signed by Chief Minister of Assam.
