Three persons, including a woman, have been apprehended from a train and 28 packets of drugs were recovered in Assam’s Hojai district on Wednesday, police said.
Railway police during routine search inside the 02984 Agartala-Bangalore Express recovered 28 packets of ganja from the toilet of a compartment and on further search arrested three persons in this connection.
The arrested trio have been identified as Ghanshyam Kumar, Swapan Dutta and Rupali Gogoi.
The value of the seized ganja is estimated to be Rs 10 lakh in the market.
