
In a shocking development in Dima Hasao district, a significant train accident occurred involving the Agartala-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Express. The incident took place at the Dibolong crossing point, where seven coaches of the train, including the engine, derailed. This unfortunate event happened at around 4:20 PM, causing injuries to several passengers, one of whom has been hospitalized for further treatment.

The train, officially numbered 12520, was on its regular route from Agartala to Mumbai when the derailment occurred. The derailment has forced the authorities to halt the 13174 Sabroom-Sealdah Kanchanjunga Express at Maibang station. Similarly, the 15618 Dullavcherra-Guwahati train found itself stuck at New Haflong, unable to proceed due to the blockage caused by the derailed coaches. This has led to widespread delays, affecting passengers who rely on these crucial train services for their daily commutes and travel plans.
