A devastating fire broke out today in Dibrugarh city. The fire occurred in Dhowbipatty near George School in North Amolapatty, engulfing 30 houses. The fire started in a rented house owned by a person named Ashok. Meanwhile, the local residents immediately informed the fire brigade, which arrived at the scene and, with the help of the locals, managed to extinguish the fire.
According to local sources, the devastating fire was caused by a short circuit. The fire, which quickly spread, led to the explosion of two cylinders. However, there have been no reports of any casualties. Nonetheless, there is concern that property worth several lakhs of rupees may have been damaged due to the fire.
