A terrible road accident has occurred in the village of Gomotha in Nagaon. One Police Constable has died at the scene of the accident. Another Constable has been injured and is in critical condition, having been sent to the Nagaon Medical College Hospital for treatment.
The accident took place when they were returning from the Kandali police firing range. An ultra bus collided with the police personnel. The deceased officer has been identified as Ramesh Pao, while the injured officer is Rajat Ali. Both of them were working as security personnel at a Jakhalabandha bank.
