Diphu : A group of around 45 skilled and unskilled workers who are resident of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao autonomous district of Assam and were engaged in various private sectors in capital city of Nagaland, Kohima are now restricted in a quarantine centre of Dimapur.
These workers after imposition of nationwide lockdown reached Dimapur city of Nagaland on foot last month and were rescued by Nagaland police, they were quarantined at Dimapur District Sports Complex last month. These Workers have pleaded for help and support of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council for their safe return.
One of the migrant labors told the media that they have completed almost 25 days of quarantine and now wants to return home. These workers have requesting the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council’s Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang and Karbi Anglong District Administration to extend help and cooperation for their safe return.
