The anti-drug campaign by Bokajan Police Station and Lahorijan Police Station has achieved significant success. Following the discovery of a suspicious amount of heroin on August 16th, another substantial quantity of suspicious heroin has been found today. The relentless efforts of the Assam-Nagaland border anti-drug campaign have resulted in the seizure of approximately four crore rupees.

However, despite the campaign’s intensity, drug mafia and suppliers continue to operate in the Assam-Nagaland border. The primary goal of the campaign is to ensure uninterrupted peace by eradicating the presence of harmful drugs. Today, based on reliable information, Mr. Das, the Bilijila District ASP (Security), directed an operation led by Ramen Baradwal, OC of Khathati Police Station, with support from the staff of Sutarkhawa Police Station.
They successfully recovered 58.81 grams of suspected heroin. The police have detained the arrested suspect, Nacir Uddin, son of Uddin from Nachikhor, and his wife, Jyotsna Khatun. The seized heroin will be securely kept in police custody. In a separate operation, the police team led by Delai Police Station, located 10 miles away from Eleka, recovered a total of 543 grams of suspected heroin concealed in plastic bags. The main supplier of the seized drugs, Sanju Ali, has been arrested. The estimated value of the seized drugs is approximately four crore rupees.
