An official reported that in a joint search operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Rajasthan Police recovered a drone from the fields near the Indo-Pak International Border (IB) in the general area of Srikaranpur on Sunday. The BSF Rajasthan posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that on August 27, 2023, BSF SriGanganagar and Rajasthan Police recovered a broken Hexacopter Drone from the fields near the Indo-Pak IB in the general area of Srikaranpur. Further information is awaited.
In a separate incident earlier this month, the BSF, along with Punjab Police, recovered a drone from the outskirts of Rajoke Village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab. The BSF Punjab Frontier informed that their troops detected a suspected flying object (drone) entering Indian territory from Pakistan near Rajoke Village. The recovered drone, identified as a Quadcopter with the model DJI Matric RTK-300, has been sent to a lab for further investigation.
