On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to address a large rally at Esplanade in Kolkata. In anticipation of the event, the BJP held small processions in various parts of the city on Tuesday, led by BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar, senior leader Rahul Sinha, and opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari in Rampurhat.

Majumdar declared that the rally will demonstrate the public’s disapproval of the TMC’s corruption since 2011. He remarked, “The people of Bengal have had enough of TMC’s misrule and corruption. Amit Shah’s rally will resonate with the collective voice of those seeking change and good governance.” All necessary arrangements are in place for the rally, which is expected to generate great public interest and political significance in the state.
