Anti CAA slogans before Chandra Mohan Patowary’s house
Guwahati : Activists of Nalbari district unit of AASU today shouted slogans before the Danguwapara residence of Chandra Mohan Patowary,Minister of Industries and Commerce against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the BJP Government.
About 300 AASU activists today took out a bike rally from Tihu areas in Nalbari district and covered all most all the areas under Dharmapur,Patacharkuchi and Barama Constituencies.The protesters of the bike rally gathered in front of the residence of the BJP Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary and raised various slogans.
They shouted slogans we opposed CAA,BJP Government go back,Chandra Mohan Patowary murdabad among others.The protesters also raised slogans before the residences Patacharkuchi MLA Pabindra Deka and Barama MLA Maneswar Brahma. The bike rally started from Tihu area covered Barkura,Balikaria,Banekuchi,Shilgosani,Makhibaha,Haribhanga,Kaithalkuchi,Barama among others.
Four protest meeting were also held at Tihu,Makhibaha,Kaithalkuchi and Shilgosani where AASU organising secretary Himan Barman,AASU’s central executive member Bhabajit Bezbaruah,AASU’s district president and secretary Gunajit Pathak and Akshay Deka delivered protest speech against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
