E. Karbi Anglong: The troops of renowned Red Horns Division of Indian army launched a cleanliness cum awareness drive on 2nd October on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Diphu and its adjoining areas of Manja, Bakulia and Harihajan of East Karbi Anglong.
In relation with it, a cleanliness walk was carried out across a stretch of 2 km covering nearby residential area. The event witnessed the participation of enthusiast locals besides a large number of officers, JCO’s and other ranks. Through this cleanliness drive, the populace would be expected to be more resolute in their conviction towards cleaner surroundings.
It is expected that when they see men in uniform take up the resolution to keep the country clean, they too won’t shy away from doing their bit.
