The recent assault on a woman wearing a police uniform has caused concern. Nazira sub-division in Assam the police officer(APS) in charge, was shocked by the incident involving Subhalakshmi Datta. Anima Praja, the victim from Lakhimpur, endured unimaginable torture, including being scalded with hot water and forcibly confined to a bathroom.
As a result, Nazira, who is an exemplary police officer, finally lodged a complaint at the local police station. Anima’s body shows visible signs of various injuries. This incident has sparked public outrage, and authorities are calling for a thorough investigation.
It’s worth noting that Nazira filed the complaint at the 36/2023 police station. The accused will be presented in court after their arrest on Saturday, and Nazira has also filed a complaint against the negligent police officers handling the case.
