The renowned journalist Sumudra Gupta Kashyap, appointed as an associate of Nagaland University in the capacity of an professor, has been given the mandate of the President of India to represent the Central University in the same capacity.
Prior to this, he was selected by the Assam Government as the Information Officer. He is also known to be one of the most renowned journalists of North-East India, having been greatly acknowledged by the Indian Express during his 20-year tenure there. He is also regularly invited by various organizations to partake in discussions on a range of topics.
