On Sunday afternoon, in Amguri located within the Kaliabor sub-division, a motorcyclist was instantly killed when struck by an unknown vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Lakshiram Bey (32) from Amguri Chang. According to reports, Lakshiram Bey was riding his motorcycle with registration number TN 06 J 1876 along National Highway 37 towards Jokholabandha when a fast-moving vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit him in Amguri, leaving him fatally injured on spot.
Upon hearing the sound of the accident, the local people rushed to the scene and found the young motorcyclist dead. The police have still not been able to locate the other vehicle involved in the accident.
