Guwahati: According to plea of Horen Sing Bey, MP of autonomous district, Northeast Frontier Railway decide to provide stoppage of two express train at Diphu & Habaipur station under Lumding division. Regarding it NF Railway has issued notification on Tuesday. According to the notification, Silchar-Dibrugarh Barak Brahmaputra Express will stay at Diphu station and Guwahati-Mariani Express will stay at Habaipur station for 2 minutes subject to each station.
It is mentioned that on 29 July, the MP met Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and asked for same through a letter. As per request the ministry has approved the plea for the greater interest of peoples. This recent development give pleasure to the people of autonomous district constituency.
However, it will be applicable from 20 August. The Silchar-Dibrugarh Barak Brahmaputra Express will arrive the station on 4:48 and left it on 5:00. Again the Dibrugarh-Silchar Barak Brahmaputra Express will arrive the same station on 9:40 and left it on 9:42. On the other hand the Guwahati-Mariani Express will arrive the station on 15:28 and left it on 15:30. Again Mariani-Guwahati Express will arrive the same station on 12:03 and left it on 12:05.
