West Karbi Anglong: The ongoing membership drive of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held on Friday at hilly district West Karbi Anglong through enrolment of new cadres. The programme constituted at the home council constituency 5 no. Rangkhang of autonomous district MP Horen Sing Bey. On this programme MP Bey attended as Chief Guest.
Here he said that on recent Lok Sabha election, he won by the highest vote of the people of this constituency. It is a sign of uprising of BJP at the hilly district. It is noted that the constituency consist by the voters of three districts as Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao.
Again he said that BJP is on the way of development through work instead of word. By this way it becomes the largest team of world and people appreciate it.
On this programme, the new cadres received their coupan from district president Arun Terang. Here local MLA Dr. Mansing Rangpi, secretary of West Karbi Anglong district BJP Rudip Ronghang and many party leader present also.
