Guwahati: An estimated 72.62 percent of the electorate exercised their franchise till the end of polling in the by-election to the four Assam assembly constituencies of Ratabari, Rangapara, Sonari and Jania on Monday. As per data from Assam state election commission, the highest polling percentage was recorded at Jania with 78.21 per cent, followed by Rangapara with 77.50 percent, Ratabari with 74.37 percent and Sonari with 66.40 percent.
