Guwahati: Three person were killed and twelve others injured in a road accidents at Bhaicherra area of Hailakandi bordering Mizoram on Monday. According to police officials, a speeding SUV carrying fifteen passengers turned turtle and rolled off the road for which three persons were killed on the spot while twelve others were injured and three of them whose condition were stated to be critical have been shifted to the Silchar Medical College Hospital. The dead have been identified as Habib Ali, Sabul Hussain and Laldobi Mizo. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condoled the deaths and directed officials of Hailakandi district administration to provide all required help to the injured.
