Guwahati : Again Screaming of death in Assam for road accident. A tragic road accident took place in Tinsukia take lives of four person. The condition of four person among eight are critical which were injured in the accident. As per police source, the accident was took place at Pawai on wee time of Monday. A van carrying twelve passengers collided head-on with a speeding coal-laden truck coming from Margherita. The four person, including the driver of the van demise on spot. The injured were admitted to the Margherita Civil Hospital where the condition of four were stated to be critical and they have been shifted to a private hospital in Dibrugarh. The driver of the truck is absconding and a search has been launched to nab him. The dead have been identified as Bisu Das (driver), Jairam Sah, Jaleswar Giri and Urmila Devi. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condoled the deaths and directed officials of Tinsukia district administration to provide all required help to the injured.
